The city recently received a "Safe Routes to School" grant and they are looking for ways to improve sidewalks, bike paths, road crossings for pedestrians, etc. Click here for an interactive bicycle/pedestrian map of Greenbelt, where you can add comments about stoplights, stop signs, sidewalks etc. that you would like to have added/changed. To review, edit, and comment on the map, click the “Login” link in the upper right-hand corner of the page and enter gbbikeped for both the username and password. The map will be available online for public comment through June 20th.
There will be a workshop on Internet Safety, run by Ms Behe, Mr Novick and Officer Parker, at the school on Thursday, 6/11, at 7pm. All are invited to attend.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the Greenbelt Elementary School PTA is to:
a. Promote activities that enhance the joy and well-being of GES students and staff in a way that complements and enriches the learning environment;
b. Advocate on behalf of students, staff and the school;
c. Build community within the school, and enhance the relationship among the school, parents, and the wider community; and, encourage the community's investment of time, energy and money into Greenbelt's public schools.
