Latest announcements:

• Principal Kim Seidel and the school staff and faculty invite all of the GES volunteers to the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, May 21st, at 8:00 am. No matter your level of volunteer activity, once or countless offerings are appreciated and want to be acknowledged.


• The final BoxTops collection for the school year will be made soon. Please send in your BoxTops by June 1st to the collection container in your child's classroom. There will be a little 'friendly competition' among the classes for the highest total collected.

Upcoming dates:

• Monday, 5/31 : School closed, Memorial Day
• Tuesday, 6/1, 6:30 PM : Final PTA meeting of the year
• Tuesday, 6/1, 7:00 PM : Band Spring Concert
• Wednesday, 6/16 : Last day of school
  

PTA meetings are the first Tuesday of every month, from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Greenbelt Elementary School PTA is to:

a. Promote activities that enhance the joy and well-being of GES students and staff in a way that complements and enriches the learning environment;

b. Advocate on behalf of students, staff and the school;

c. Build community within the school, and enhance the relationship among the school, parents, and the wider community; and, encourage the community's investment of time, energy and money into Greenbelt's public schools.
