The meeting was held in the Conference Room of the Greenbelt Community Center, immediately following the 1999 Annual Membership Meeting. The meeting began at 8:52 p.m.
Members present: Brian Schieber, Gilbert Lee, Doug Love, Neil McLeod, Patty Merryman, Shawn O'Neil, Bill Dupree, Dan Andrews, Clement Lau, Doug Caprette, Ed James.(If I missed anyone please e mail me at email@example.com)
At the start of the meeting there were volunteers for most of the positions. Bill Dupree as secretary, Gilbert Lee as vice president. Doug Love stated that he was willing to serve as interim treasurer. Discussion took place on how to run GIAC without a president, Brian Schieber volunteered to do it as long as he was in the area but he was selling his house and moving out of state. The slate was accepted by acclamation. Brian, the new president called for the keys and books to review. He suggested a business card that represented GIAC and maybe a logo.
Neil McLeod motioned for a vote by acclamation that officer positions be filled as follows:

The President laid out some policies for his term: Limit meetings to a 90 minute time frame, all committees help one another, membership utilization - you are part of GIAC, your are GIAC and most important is communication.
The meeting was adjourned by GIAC president Brian Schieber at 10:02 p.m.
